Hello everyone! Today I enjoyed creating a insert in memory of May 26th 2018. On this day, Oli and I saw our first real concert. Ed Sheeran is one of Oli's favorite musicians. Some of the materials used in this video were mentions in my previous video "Zero Waste Journal Supplies." However, some items, such as the stamp and pencil, were aquired at a second hand/thrift/charity shop. Please don't hesitate to ask if you have any questions. (: -Marri.

Hello everyone! Today I wanted to show you how I created my wallet journals! Usually don’t include fabric and just do the last steps of the video on a wallet with a nice cover. Since I already had a old wallet unused I figured I would use this one but make it more appealing with a little fabric. If there is anything that was hard for you to grasp just comment below your questions. (: Thank you as always for tuning in… -Marri. JOURNAL: https://www.etsy.com/listing/10274042...
Hello again everyone! By request I thought I would show you guys how I make my zero waste vegan foundation! Let me know if you have any questions.
PSA For anyone having audio problems or with a language barrier: These are all estimates that you may have to tweek to match your skin color* Light Skin: - 2 Tbsp arrowroot powder (or you could use baby powder/cornstarch) - 1/2 Tbsp cocoa powder - use twice as much if it is in powdered form* 1/2 tsp beet root/rose powder (pink undertone) or matcha powder (neutral undertone) or tumerick (warm/yellow undertone) - 10 drops of jojoba or grapeseed oil (If you dont have these, use a oil that is sutible for your skin or just leave it out completely ) Medium Skin: - 1/2 Tbsp arrowroot powder (or you could use baby powder/cornstarch) - 2 Tbsp cocoa powder - use twice as much if it is in powdered form* 1 tsp beet root/rose powder (pink undertone) or matcha powder (neutral undertone) or tumerick (warm/yellow undertone) - 10 drops of jojoba or grapeseed oil Dark Skin: - 1/4 Tbsp activated charcoal - 2 & 1/4 Tbsp cocoa powder - use twice as much if it is in powdered form* 1 tsp beet root/rose powder (pink undertone) or matcha powder (neutral undertone) or tumerick (warm/yellow undertone); if you have an orange undertone, I would mix beet and tumerick. - 10 drops of jojoba or grapeseed oil - if in liquid form: mix this with your favorite lotion/body cream/ sunscreen in small portions and refrigerate* The less liquid you use the more pigmented it will be. (: I hope this helps! Leave any other questions in the comments below. P.S. This was an experimental recipe I created that works well for me. I personally prefer the powder form but If you like liquids, you can add silicone to your foundation to make it more like your favorite brand but I found it challenging to find this sustainably. - With Love, Marri. Hello everyone! This is how I create my own glue! I am sure some of you know this reciepe from art class as a child. This reciepe is a sustainable and vegan twist on your traditional elmers glue. However, make sure you keep your beautiful creations away from water, considering this glue is not water proof. This glue does expire so you must leave it in the fridge! -Marri |
